Yes, I spotted - sometimes kind of heavily for spotting- continuously for about 7 months on one pill that I took-I always had to wear a pad! I told my doctor and she said that it was not a medically harmful thing to have happen- just annoying! So she put me on a different pill that has a little bit higher amount of estrogen and now I don't spot! Yay!
Oh, also- spotting is common in the first few months of BC pill but if it goes on for longer than that- well there is really nothing to worry about (from what my doctor told me) but a different pill might be better! No more pads!
HTH! of course, discuss it with your doctor, just sharing my experience....

I did speak to my doc. She basically told me what you did. I've never had it happen with other pills in the past.
I stopped taking it. (i never liked the idea of them anyway)
And we'll just use barrier methods until TTC time.
