Well I started a new birth control pill on Sunday. It is called cyclefem which is the generic for Ortho-Novum (something like that). I had been on Sprintec generic for Ortho-Cyclen before and had spotting off and on and a regualr period the entire time I was on it so I wanted to try something else. Well I started this new one on Suday and went to bed Monday with a migraine and then had another one Wednesday and was in bed most of the day. I had migraines every few months before I had my son and had only had 2 in the past 3-4 years so to have 2 within 3 days was odd. I called my doc but haven't got a call back yet. I'm assuming they will put me on a different pill but I'm worried it will do the same thing..I get so nervous about getting migraines because they are so painful and make me sick to my stomach and I just have to sleep them off..which is hard to do with 2 young kids and a husband that works out of town alot....

Anyone else have migraines? What pill works for you??

Some women are more sensitive to the synthetic hormones in the Pill, no matter which kind it is. You might find that a non-hormonal option suits you better.
