Hi! I'm Samantha
I currently have the paragard IUD, I got in at my 6 week PP check up after my daughter was born in Feb 2011
I'm wanting to hopefully start TTC in 6 months, but I don't want to have to pay for another Dr appt just to get my iud out, my yearly exam is thursday and my insurance covers almost all of those appts, should I get my IUD taken out and get on the pill for 6 months?
I haven't been on the pill in 4 years .
what is the best one?

I would if that is the case get in taken out! The pills will be fine I mean you should be cautious from about the first 3 months. I have been on orthro tri cyclen for about 13 years. NEver an issue. They are a bit pricey but to me worth it. They really help even my cycles out when I was a teenager. And I have been like clockwork ever since even had an easy time getting pregnant with my DS!

Taking birth control pill is okay, but you should avoid missing out or else it could lead to unplanned pregnancy.

Both the IUD and the Pill have serious health risks, so it's really just a matter of deciding which set of risks you're most comfortable with.
