Does anyone have experience with getting pregnant with an IUD? I have had a copper 3 year one in for about a year. My cycles have been consistently between 22 and 26 days. I have always been short in length. Anyway. I use fertility friend just to track start dates and cycle length. I didn't mark the exact day of my last one but I know it was near 25 days.

If that's the case then I'm about. Cd 18. I started spotng yesterday. Haven't experienced that before. We Dtd right around when I would have Od and I have had cramping

I'm sure it's a long shot right

I usually get paranoid pretty easily, so I would take a test to be sure. If the IUD is where it should be, then it should be a slim chance of being pregnant. There are other things, like stress, causing your periods to be off. However, I had the copper IUD put in after my 1st daughter was born and didn't know until I went to the hospital in severe pain that it had fallen out of place. It was sitting on my cervix trying to push it's way out. Checking to make sure the strings are there aren't exactly enough of an indication in my opinion that it's still in the right place.
