Hey ladies I have a question...I just started taking yaz and i just finished my second month on the pills..I was wondering if anyone has taken Yaz before and what they thought about it? Is it safe and has anyone gotten pregnant on the this pill?...Was just curious i havent seen alot about it!.....thanks!

Depends what you mean by safe. All hormonal contraceptives have risks - including side effects and long term health risks. They are all listed on the insert that comes with your prescription.

I was on Yaz for 3 months and had some bleeding problems so they put me on Yasmin instead. Its a little stronger but I have other "female" problems which were contributing to the bleeding. I have a friend on it and she loves it. The time I was on it and wasn't bleeding I really liked it. It was the first pill that I didn't feel like I had morning sickness on.

I have been on a few different pills, and Yaz has worked the best for me. It regulated my period from 7 days to 4, I don't have to wear super plus tampons anymore, only regular ones, and I don't have any cramps or backaches. So for me, it's wonderful!
