I've taken Avianne (Alysse) and Yasmin. Avianne isn't strong enough... AF always shows up 2-3 days early. Yasmin was WAY too strong. I gained a lot of weight, didn't have periods, etc. Anything between those 2 doses that I could ask my ob/gyn about? I want to stick with a pill... no shots, patches, etc.

I"ve only used Tricyclin and Micrinor. I didn't have a problem with either. Micrinor is good for nursing mothers, so if your not nursing then you probably don't wanna use it.

I was on Estro-Step for years. It was the only pill that I found that didn't give me side effects. Altho, I do have to say that after childbirth, I did experience breakthrough bleeding on it. I'm planning to go back on it once I'm done bfing, but if I experience the midcycle bleeding again, then I'll have to find a diff one.
