Me tooooooo! It was a day 16 O when I normally go day 23 at the EARLIEST!
Haha, this baby was just meant to be. VERY persistant.
Not only did I ovulate early (I clearly ovulated CD 14, when I normally ovulate 18-19) but the only oopsie we had was 5 days before that ovulation date of CD 14...so this baby was meant to be created! lol
I have used; withdrawal method, condoms and the pill... which i am currently on and hating. once my cycles regulate out I'm trying NFP. I got lucky with the withdrawal method as a teen and condoms make sex last forever and I cant feel anything so theres no point in having sex.
I HATED the Diaphragmn! I don't really care for condoms. I HATED the pill. I don't really feel uncomfortable with any hormonal method of BC. I would like to just use the rhythm method but I am worried about the effectiveness of it....guess I'm stuck with condoms for now? Any suggestions?
Rhythm isn't very reliable, so you are right to be concerned about the effectiveness. Modern types of Natural Family Planning are 96-99% effective, so higher than condoms. NFP requires monitoring your fertility on a daily basis, then every day you know if you are potentially fertile or not. There are simple rules that tell you when to abstain if you want to avoid pregnancy.
I'm terrible at remembering to take pills, and when I was on them (both low-dose and regular), I was highly emotionally unstable and miserable. I've been on the NuvaRing since my daughter was born three years ago, and I don't even notice it's there.
