Well I went for my scheduled ultrasound and OB appt. The ultrasound tech asked if I had a feeling about the baby being head up or head down. I told her that the doctor had been saying that the baby is breech because he kept hearing the heartbeat around my belly button and above it. I am pleased to announce that the baby is HEAD DOWN!!!!!! There was no mistaking the head being down low in my pelvis. I am so excited and pleased, that I just about cried on the ultrasound table. And the baby's heart is right by my belly button, cause my belly button kept casting a shadow on the ultrasound. The tech asked me again if I wanted to know what we are having and I said no. By the end of the ultrasound, she said that was good because the baby wasn't giving it up and kept its legs tightly closed. I also learned that the baby is around 6lbs 10 oz and the tech said my fluid level was a little low. My OB said that isn't a problem at all, if it had been they would have called him as soon as they finished the ultrasound. He checked me and said that I am dilated about the size of a permanent marker lid and thinning out nicely. Well I am just excited about the ultrasound and everything so hopefully I will still get my natural childbirth experience but we will wait and see. I just had to share my exciting news!!!!! Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers!!!! Even more exciting news, my DH is on vacation starting on Friday and will be here for 13 days!!!!!
