I can't even begin to remember the last time I was on here to chat or check on ya!!! Life certainly is busy with a toddler in the house!!! We are all doing well and still living in TN. I haven't been on here so I don't remember the last things I have told ya.
I have now gone supplemental at my job. Having gone supplemental has really helped me to feel less stressed out about being there (I have been able to stop taking my Lexapro and that feels great too). I only have to work two days every four to six weeks. I usually work about two days a week. This has allowed me to spend more time at home and actually get involved in a ladies' bible study this fall for moms. I love it!!! It was kinda awkward at first because most of the moms in my group are stay at home moms. But once I got to know them better we had more in common than I realized. It has been a great growing experience for me. I look forward to do that again in January. Since being here in TN, I have been having so many problems with my asthma and allergies. I finally saw a lung doctor, I met him at work and felt comfortable enough to see him. He is more forward thinking than many doctors in his field, he was actually impressed with my lung function studies. I have started a whole new regiment and hope that it works but because of this we are having to put TTC on hold. I thought it was more important to get this under control before putting my body under the strain of pregnancy again.
My husband is enjoying his job more and getting to be more busy there. It is getting cooler outside which means there will be more house fires as people use more space heaters. My husband gets excited which means he will start being more busy on the engine. Right now he has mostly been busy on the ambulance as a paramedic. He has actually started his own blog since going to an EMS Expo in Dallas. He also even started his own podcast too. This is a great outlet for him to get out some of his frustrations from work and co-workers out.
For a short period of time we let one of my co-workers live with us for a short term thing. We thought it would be like two weeks and it ended up being more like eight weeks. She drove us crazy with her two birds that would never shut up!!! The final straw came when she wanted to put up a fence with chicken wire in our backyard so she could move her two dogs into our house!!!! That was it and we had enough!!! I failed to mention that she was a women in her mid-fifties that gave up a steady job and working on her graduate degree to move in with a guy she met online for a bit. Who acted like a teenager and keyed my husband's car after we made her move out for causing too much drama for her and her life. All I can say is I am so glad we got her to move out, even though she made my life at work hell for two more weeks until she got fired last week. Apparently she went off on a patient and his family, she had already been acting erratic at work. That was more than enough for her to have a talk with the big boss and she was escorted off of hospital property by security. The irony is she called me on the phone two days later to blame me for the whole thing and told me "that what comes around goes around and she is certain that God will get even with us for what we have done." All I can say is that one less stressor at work will make life much easier and happier.
My in-laws were fighting like cats and dogs over the spring and summer. It got bad enough that they filed for divorce. My fil had finally had enough of my mil behavior. She actually went off the deep end, hacked his email and facebook accounts and told everyone that he was cheating on her and what a horrible person he was. She waited until he was out of town on a trip with his sister and her daughter to visit PA. Well this past weekend I found out that they now plan to reconcile since my mil figured out that her money would run out in about a year or so and then she would have to get a job to support herself (and we all know that doesn't ever work out well for her). I just really hope that his dad was smart enough to say that she needs to get some mental help in order for him to stay with her. She is just outrageous and totally schizo or bipolar.
Little man is growing so much!!! He is finally getting in his final baby tooth, the last one has taken forever. He babbles all the time and when he really wants to he says phrases. We have been adding more sign language with words and he picks up on the sign language so fast and uses the words when he feels like it. I enjoy seeing how much he has changed over the past year, he is losing all of his baby fat and baby looks and really starting to look like a big boy. He is actually with my parents this week and last week. I can't wait to pick him up on Saturday!!!! It has been nice having a clean house and sleeping in but I miss hearing my little man around the house!!!
