So we all know a lot of us play MMOs, but what about the book and group versions like D&D!

Do you play RPGs?
Which ones?
How often does your group play?
What character do you have?

Do you play RPGs? I used to play them a lot in college.
Which ones? D&D version 3 was the one we played.
How often does your group play? It was usually every weekend.
What character do you have? I had a cleric and a ranger.

Actually about to head to a game here in a few minutes. The group I play with alternates between First Edition D&D, D20 modern, Warhammer, and the occasional board game.
They play once a week, but I don't always feel up to going.
I generally play some sort of intelligent/charismatic character, but lately I've been branching out into the meaty, mindless fighter type because they're honestly more fun than the healers, mages, or diplomats.

My husband gave me a deck of Magic cards as a gift when we first started dating. lol. Not very good at it, but it's a fun couples activity.

My husband did the same. He wanted me to get into Magic with him. But I honestly had trouble doing it because I was so into it during high school....(13 YEARS ago..gawd I feel old!). But with the kids I just couldn't find the time.

I have to admit, playing the mindless fighter type was so fun. I once played an amazon, I rolled really horrible and ended up with a very low int score... LMAO...

Hahaha. Yeah, the low INT score is pretty normal for a fighter. I have a little bit of a problem trying to pretend not to see traps that the DM/GM sets up, since most of those characters wouldn't be smart enough to think anything much more sophisticated than "Do I eat it, kill it, or sleep with it?" Luckily, my husband and the other guys I campaign with aren't too strict about staying in character, so I still get to strategize a little and be She-Hulk when it suits me.
