I think the only way we would buy it if it first came out is if they came out with a new Final Fantasy game or if they redid FF7. It's just gonna be WAY too expnsive for us. I'm really hoping Sony isn't making a mistake with this system because the Wii and the 360 are gonna be a bit cheaper then the Playstation 3

We support it cause it keeps them out of our hair and gives us US time lol..

I think i will stick to my playstation 2 for now. im scared to go beyond that! but let me know what you find out. whenever they come out with these new games their games are always so expensive LOL.

we are trying to decide if we need to buy a new PS2, or hold out for the PS3 - either way we have to buy something new, as we've wore out the PS2 - it usually takes us about 30 minutes to get it to come up so we can even play a game - LOL

there is a site that has a lot of answers about the ps3 - judging on the price, i think we will just be getting a new PS2 instead.

OMG i know however,,,we have a % of dh's paycheck that goes into a special checking account ....its our "GAME FUND" lol.......we keep it just for our gaming addiction....that way when we go to actually byuy the big systems its not such a big HIT kwim

exactly....and the money never goes into our regualr checkign account b/c we have direct deposit....its harder to use b/c we dont have cards for it so when we want to use it we have to drive to the bank and withdraw it......it helps us save it better lol....thats how we got our xbox360
