I'm constantly inspired by fitness guru Tosca Reno, as well as on a personal level by the teachers at my karate & kickboxing school (Renshi Ben & Sensei Jason)
I have recently hired Jason as my fitness trainer to help me work on my core... I also will be emailing him my weekly food journal.

I hope to set a healthy example for my daughter.

I also hope to inspire my father who has many healthy problems... all related to his diet & weight... I feel like if I lived closer to him I could have more impact....

I grew up as an active, athletic person, so most of my inspiration comes from inside. But, after 13 years working as a professional wrestler, it was the work ethic of the guys I knew in that business who really inspired me to join a gym to lose weight after having kids. That's how I fell into training as a profession, because I hired a trainer and found out he wasn't certified. So I fired him and took the certification myself. I achieved the results I wanted within a month of taking my certification (after 6 months of working with an uncertified trainer and not seeing results). Next thing I knew, I had a client base built up and had to quit my full time job because I didn't have time for it. LOL

I've also had some people close to me that I lost because of their lack of fitness. My son's father died at 35 from heart disease. My Grandmother died at 56 from congestive heart and lung failure. My Mom died at 53 from a stroke brought on from untreated high blood pressure. Anytime I don't feel like working out, I look at my kids and think of Mom, Grandma, and Brian and know that I want to be here for them for a long time. It gets my butt up and moving every time!

I dunno who inspires me. I guess i just wanna be fit for myself. There are a few girls here that have done a great job though and it helps motivate me.

I want to inspire my children and other family members. I don't want them to think that it's all about weight loss and being trim, cause it's not. I want them to start eating healthier and to start getting rid of that processed food if possible.

I motivate myself I guess. I feel better when I run, I'm passionate about running and wonder how far (literally) it will take me, I see the difference in the mirror and on the scale. It's just about the pride I feel in myself when I'm in good shape.

I want my daughter to feel good about her looks and try to change her body in healthy ways if she feels the need. Hopefully I will be a good role model for her.

I don't have anyone that inspires me. I guess the sad thing is the people that inspire me are my inlaws who are morbidly obese and I saw myself heading down that path and didn't want to be there. I don't know very many people in real life that are fit. Everyone around me is overweight so sometimes it makes it really hard because everyone I know does not eat very healthy.
