How much weight do you typically put on over the holidays (when you didn't work out).

I don't know honestly. If I am not trying to lose weight or exercising I don't usually pay attention to it.

Oh goodness.. I wasn't keeping tabs so I don't know. Honestly, I feel starting a "diet" one week before thanksgiving is kind of silly because it will be devastating weight gain wise. However, it's a good challenge to limit the portions and if the dinner is early enough you can have a little of everything throughout the day (not all at one sitting) except for the pie limit that to one piece of one flavor. I plan on taking a piece home of the second kind (hoping for apple) for the following days snack. he he he.

Is it high hopes of only gaining 3-5 lbs? If any at all!!!

I don't. I maintain my healthy eating habits and exercise throughout the holidays and typically don't gain anything. Because I'm good about my eating every other day, my big splurge for Thanksgiving and Christmas day doesn't effect me.

I don't usually gain anything. I don't splurge over the holidays. To me it isn't worth it and I feel terrible when I'm really full. I do admit to snacking on all the chocolates and candy but I try to control myself and not eat too much more than what would be maintenance calories for me!
