Okay, for those of you who are new here, the never ending fitness thread is something we've tried a few times (Hence my joke of a version number) and it is a fun game to play. Basically, you come to the thread, see what the last exercise posted is and do it, then post another exercise for the next person. Lets see if we can keep it going for longer then a week this time. Here's the first exercise:

10 Jumping Jacks

Done, on my toes too! Although the last 3 were kind of sloppy.

wall squat - hold it for 30 seconds (or better if you are an eager beaver)!

Held it for a full minute! HA!

20 Plie Squats (For those of you unfamiliar with Plie Squats, they are basically squats with your knees and toes pointed out to the side. Make sure your knees don't go out over your toes.)

Two on toes, 6 on knees....still sore from upper body weight training yesterday so the Triceps Pushups are extra tough today.

Hold Chaturanga for 30 seconds (Here's instructions. http://www.yogajournal.com/poses/469

I can't do cartwheels. I've never been able to do those. Too afraid of falling. The closest I got to a cartwheel was balancing on a ball doing leg lifts. I did a bunch of those. It sort of looked like a cartwheel.

How about 15 jumping jacks?

I did the cartwheel for you Teresa! And the 15 jumping jacks. You not being able to do a cartwheel though go me to thinking of things we can't do. Decided to see if I could still do the splits. Glad to report I can. Not pretty like the cheerleaders in high school mind you, but I have kids in high school so I don't feel so bad about my ugly splits. LOL So my challenge is to see how far you can go down in the splits. Maybe have someone there to help you up though.

Side split i can go all the way down... the front split is another story... I was able to get down pretty far considering what shape im in.. I was about 6 inches off the floor.

20 Leg lunges .. 10 each side (with your hands at you at your hip or holding dumbells.. your choice )

Do 15 bicep curls with weights or no weights (if you dont have dumbells, use a couple of can or bags of dry beans).

I did this yesterday. I just forgot about posting here until this morning and then didn't have time until now.

How about planks - hold for 30 seconds if you can. (link if you don't know how to do them - http://www.trainwithmeonline.com/exercisenum.asp?exn=98 )
