I woke up so pumped this morning until..... I had my breakfast... so digusting.

I bought this cereal, Fiber One (57%).. ughh.. I still have that gritty feel in my mouth. I think I'm going to go shopping around for a different fiber cereal. I dont think I can eat that everyday... I was barely able to finish my bowl this morning.

The important thing was that I was able to have enough control to finish the darn thing and not eat the yummy Honey bunches of Oats my kids were having.

I'm about to go take some measurement to see what i'll be working with.

The only time I can squeeze my workout are in the afternoons... I know it's best to work out first thing in the morning, but how bad is it to work mid-day? anyone know?

Good luck and don't worry about working out in the afternoon. Its best to workout whenever you can do it. The alternative is that you wouldn't be able to do it and that is definitely not best! LOL Have fun with your workout. Oh, and as for cereals, I love Kashi's stuff!

Kashi, I think I saw that at the grocery store today... I'll have to try that. I did however pick up POST Live Active.. i tried it out for lunch and it was so much better. At first it smelled like dog food , maybe the part of me that wants to eat 2 hotdogs right now is trying to get me to faulter.

I eat Kashi's Cinnamon Good Friends religiously! It's so yummy. It has about 40% fiber and has raisins and cinnamon. It doesn't taste gritty to me at all! Give it a try!!

Fiber One's Cinnnamon vanilla or something (looks like cinnamon toast crunch) tastes pretty good.

The Cinnamon Toast Crunch ones are pretty good...and I'm really picky about cereal.

I am so so sorry about the cereal, that really stinks! I stick to special K as of right now, and chex since I can get those on WIC and my boys dont eat cereal except cheerios and lucky charms

I have been working out all sorts of times.. I am w/ Tonya, at least you are getting it in!

Blah, I hate Kashi cereal. I eat Fiber One pancakes with sugar free syrup instead. I have really been focusing on adding fiber so a couple other things that aren't bad are WW bagels. They got a good amount of fiber and not too bad on calories. I eat oatmeal too. I can't eat a lot of the high fiber cereals so I have them for snacks so I can just have a small portion of it instead of a whole bowl.

yeah, I never focused on fiber ever until I started reading more about it.. everything I've ready has said that fiber is a must.. so that's why i went all out with the Fiber One.. I guess if I only eat half a cup of it.. it wont' be too bad... I won't throw the cereal away so one way or another it's going to get eaten.. (that's when a dog would come in handy.. kidding kidding).

Maybe you could mix it half and half with another cereal that you like so that it doesn't taste as bad?
