I got the powder cups to make a pitcher of it and it's really good. I figure at least I'm getting water that way. I've replaced all the other drinks in the house with it, so it's cutting down my soft drink intake.
I don't use it for myself, but I buy the packets for my kids. Since I have 2 diabetic kids we have drank sugar free Koolaid for years so honestly I don't notice any of the sugar substitutes as much as other people. I don't particularly like flavored water. I tend to drink either water or hot herbal tea with splenda a lot. I do have one cup of coffee or regular (caffeinated) tea in the morning then herbal tea or water most of the time with sometimes a diet soda here and there.
