I am really starting to hurt from that Zumba class this morning.

I was hoping to try the yoga class tomorrow, but I'm wondering if that would be just way too much?

Anyone have any tips for me?

keep going! only if you can't walk or it hurts really really bad, take a day of rest. If you do something like yoga it'll help condition ur muscles and believ eit or not u will better. I had the issue a few weeks back, and continued the next day on the treadmill and it helped. So i think that the yoga, although u'll be sore it'll help loosen ur muscles.

That's what I was thinking...it would be good stretching. Now that P has gotten me up at 4 this morning, we'll see if it happens. Grrrr.

DOMS is a killer isn't it? That's good though. Means you've worked muscles you weren't working before. Now soak in a nice hot bath with some epsom salts. Or there is this stuff at Wal-Mart called Bath Therapy that I highly recommend for muscle soreness. After that, go to yoga to stretch and release some of that muscle tension.

ETA: Be sure and tell your yoga teacher that you are suffering from DOMS and where so she can give you some good stretches for those areas.

WTG Sarah! That's awesome. I think Yoga would be a good choice on your in between days. Let us know if you do it and how it goes if you do.

Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness....the pain you feel in muscles a few hours to a couple of days after exercising them.
