I just want to say....THANK YOU to all the ladies on this board, especially our great hosts, Teresa and Tonya.
I am really really struggling to get this weight off after having Reid. He is nine months old and I still have 20 lbs to go. Usually by this time I am back at pre-pregnancy weight. I know it all has to do with my hormone issues and the fact that I haven't returned to regular cycles yet.
I have been really tempted to totally give up on working out and trying to eat healthier. But being on this board, being awarded the slug of the week and reporting in the daily food and exercise threads has really kept me accountable and given me the motivation to NOT give up. Without you ladies and this board, I'm sure I would have slumped back into my "not caring" mode by now.
So I just want to say thanks. Since last July I have lost 12 lbs, which is at least something, even if it isn't the 30 lbs I was hoping it would be. And I am getting more into shape; I am able to do more and more every time I work out. Recording my food every day shows me where I need to add veggies to my diet and I have been eating more of them. So it isn't all for naught.
