I've been doing Slim in 6 for almost four complete weeks now and I am getting BORED! I still can't finish the second workout in the series completely, but I just can't stand to do the routine for one more day. Besides, I slipped on my stairs the other day and apparently stretched my quad a little much. The first lunge I did this morning really hurt. So, that was the end of that. I skipped ahead to the resistance band phase, did 20 minutes on the treadmill, then went back and did the ab phase.
I usually do a routine for six weeks before changing, but ... oh well. I think tomorrow I'll put that DVD away for a while and work on my treadmill and Winsor Pilates for a few weeks.

Turning that into a fitness tip... If you are getting bored with an exercise routine, your body probably is too. Changing your routine when you get bored is not only good for your mind, but for your body too. Your body will get used to doing the same thing and not burn as much. A new routine will wake the muscles and the metabolism again.
