Does anyone else notice that now that you eat healthier that when you do go out and eat the 'bad' foods your tummy doesn't handle it as well. I don't get diarrhea or anything (i know TMI) but it's not even IBS it's just like my stomach does not like it. I guess the same as with someone who's banned red meat for a long time and hten eats a burger, their stomach may not tolerate it well.

anyone else?

Yes! Especially if it's anything greasy.
Two nights ago my DH wanted Taco Bell. Since I was low on calorie intake for the day anyway I told him to get me a Mexican Pizza.
After I finished I felt like the food had settled like a piece of lead in my stomach. I was also bloated. I also couldn't finish my diet drink because it tasted too sweet after drinking so much water.

yes! I can't handle junk food like I could before. Not even just a tummy thing it is a whole body thing. I can really tell I feel yucky when/if I eat it. Even if it is legal and I've accounted for the points it is often not worth it. Junk food zaps me of my energy as well.

I noticed that yesterday. We stopped at Arby's for lunch. (I wanted Subway but was outvoted 3 to 1 ) I felt horrible and icky for a few hours after.

Oh totally! We go out to eat maybe 3 times a year... our anniversary, my birthday and Josh's birthday. So when we do it always sounds good.. like the sampler from Applebees or Chilis... when I'm halfway done I feel so nasty and greasy and I usually get some stomach pains later on.

If we go to Olive Garden I don't regret it. I drink lots of water, eat plenty of salad (usually a whole bowl! lol) and have either the Linguine Alla Marinara (just flat noodles with marinara) or the cheese ravioli. So no fried foods or anything.

Isn't it amazing how your body changes?

I've just really started eating healthy so I haven't hit that point yet. I can still put away some junk food with no discomfort! unfortunately!
