Logan has his 3rd double ear infection and I'm just at my wit's end. He's been on antibiotics since Friday and they're not working. He's still running temps and up all night, and he doesn't want anyone but me. So we're taking him back in to the doctor's tomorrow. I just ate 3 spoonfuls of frosting and several handfuls of chips. And it's my Mom's and brother's birthdays so we'll be eating cake and ice cream.

And I haven't worked out since THURSDAY!!! Man I'm not looking forward to getting on the scale tomorrow... I just feel like I could cry.

this will sound crazy and it's going to stink...have u tried garlic oil? I did it with DJ and i had a friend do it and it worked.

you take a garlic capsule from any pharmacy (about 3 bucks) and puncture the tip. Put a few drops into the ears and let it dry. You can use a blow dryer even. If you don't want to try that, I have even put a little bit of garlic oil into his sippy with his juice. Garlic oil in the ear drum works the best though. Maybe try one drop if you wish.

Garlic is a natural antibiotic. I have also read that you can take a clove of garlic and place it in the outside of the ear (of course not in lol), but the garlic oil has worked.

and for your situation

sorry you are at your wits end, we all go thru it. No more snacks and cheats okay!~ Don't eat a big piece of cake. I had 2 birthdays in the last 3 weeks lol

HUGS!!! I've been there and done that and ended up having to have tubes in both my kids ears to end it. I know you are stressed beyond belief right now, so don't let the scale cause you more stress. Don't weigh in. Don't worry about it at all. The scale is just an inanimate object that doesn't know everything, so it doesn't matter. Just focus on taking care of your DS and your own health, and the scale will still be there when you no longer have more pressing matters to care for.

yeah Kelly, don't worry about the scale at the moment... just don't eat too much junk and all should be good when you son is feeling better and you are ready to press on.
