i just have to say.....i ate mcdonalds at lunch and then felt lousy and grumpy all day. i was so stressed cause i lost my wallet and was trying to find it/spent forever on the phone with the bank, had other things to do, two little ones needing my attention and by 2pm i realised all i had eaten all day was a granola bar at 8am and i was currently round the corner from McD's. UGH. I made a bad decision. Because of this i didnt eat again till dinner and all i had was salad to make up for it but then this evening DH went out and I was snacky and had no distractions and I ate a cookie and some chips. Its been WEEKS since i ate like this.

I know I know, tomorrow is a new day. I just had to get this off my chest!

Thanks for listening.

It's okay, girlie. I ate two piece of chocolate birthday cake today. I was afraid you'd be mad at me!! I worked it off, tho. We'll start over tomorrow, k? No worries.

I have days like that. They thing to do is on a calm quiet day, figure out what from McDonald's works for your plan. For me it is the Southwestern grilled chicken salad. That way when you do find yourself at McDonald's and stressed and wanting your French Fries and a Big Mac you already KNOW you are supposed to order the whatever it is you choose.

Another thing is to order a kids meal. That is plenty of food for an adult. And while it isn't as good as a salad it is better than a value meal.

Today is another day, wipe the slate clean and move forward.

Actually, depending on the dressing you choose, the kids meal may be a better option. We've all been there though, and even those slips won't throw you off course unless you let it. You can do it!

WTG I am so proud of you for sticking it through today! We all need that extra motivation. We all have bad days but you learned your lesson, hopped back on the horse and moved on! WTG!
