when you feel like giving up? I know I can do this, I know I can, there's just too much tempting food out there in the world! I've given up so many times in the past that I've come to expect it. I connected weight loss to finding a soulmate or even a new friend which was the wrong thing to do. I figured, If i lost this weight maybe more ppl would notice me and think I was attractive. Don't you hate when youc an't figure out why guys don't talk to you (well maybe because I don't have me time anyway lol) Today has been a depressing day. I jsut want to drive to a millionfastfood places and eat through my pain of rejection but I know that will jsut make me feel worse. I'm ready for this day to be over with. Sorry for the rant!

I am not on a specific diet, but I just try to eat healthier all around (the food groups, whole grains, fruits/veggies, lean meats, lowfat dairy, etc). What I do also is allow myself one cheat meal per week. I can have whatever I want and not feel guilty. If you don't ever eat stuff like that, you are going to fail because it's just too tempting. I try not to weigh myself the next day or two after doing that since the scale will go up, but I also drink lots of water (partially because of the salt content).

Good luck!

UGH! I've been there. I actually found that punching a heavy bag made me feel better. It's not your fault that the idiots of the world can't appreciate what a wonderful woman you are. Don't let them get you down. We love you!!!

Perception is reality. Oftentimes I think its not what you look like, but how you work it. I could be wrong, being that I met my dh when I was 18. (yikes that sounds so young to me now!) but, I weighed 170 when I met him, now I weigh 200. I got up to 230. Granted men don't hit on me (or at least not often) ... my point is, you've got to own you... and if at that point your still not getting the attention you deserves, than *** them! Because you don't need it anyhow. I understand your frustration, sometimes its nice to get hit on just do you know that you've still "got it" ... but keep your head up, eyes on the prize, get your butt out there and work hard. Bottom line, YOU deserve it! YOU deserve the best of you, and getting fast food isn't loving you, its borderline abuse.

I am married and i was used to men always hitting on me. Some still do, but not the ones i would want to if i were single. I do realize though that if you don't exude confidence no matter what size you are, men smell it. That's why we get the dogs.
