I keep working my abs on the stability ball, and I am not getting sore the next day. ???? I do around 100 crunchies, and I can feel it while I am doing it... but I've got to be doing something wrong here...

Hmm that's interesting. I'm only up to 40 and mine are still sore. I roll down to where just my lower back is on the ball. Put my hands behind my head and do regular crunches. Up enough to feel it over my complete abs, sides and lower back.

Maybe you are just adjusting to them?

Actually, your body can become accustomed to exercise and not get DOMS anymore from certain things. I do a 30 minute 1000 crunch abs class and never get sore from it anymore. The abs, since we don't usually use weight for ab exercises, will become accustomed to exercises faster then most other muscle groups. But honestly, the whole body can get use to certain things. I rarely get sore from workouts anymore, even when I do a heavy 300 pound squat session, because my body is use to it. If you want to feel it more, up your reps or add weight.
