Tea of any kind makes me pee a lot! Green tea is suppose to have some fat burning effects, but I think it is just the caffeine that does that. There are some extra antioxidants that aren't in black tea though. Personally, I can't stand the taste, so I don't drink it.

Thanks, I heard it made you go #2 a lot but i think that was something like Diet green tea. Would taking a greent ea capsule provide the same benefits a s drinking it?

The only reason it would make you go number 2 is if it is hot. Hot liquids seem to help with emptying the bowels. Coffee or hot chocolate will do the same thing. Supposedly the capsules will have the same benefits, but the research on vitamin supplements is that you don't get the same benefits as if you ate the same vitamins from whole foods, so I would wonder if you are getting the full benefit from a pill instead of a glass. But if you want to try it, the only thing in it that might be harmful is the caffeine.

I dont like green tea plain... but I buy green tea, and rasberry tea and brew together in a pitcher add ice, and there ya go... chilled rasberry green tea.. I dont add sugar, I drink it plain.. It is gross at first, but after a while you grow a taste for it... I am after the anti-oxidants... and I always feel good after drinking it (though maybe in my head) which ever it is, I'll take it...

I like green tea but I don't drink it for any other reason then I like it once in awhile. I doubt it will help with weight loss. Truly only one thing helps - expend more calories than you consume.
