Hi Ladies!
My name is Carly (28) and DH and I are currently TTC our 2nd. I am an active member of the TTC board but I also am trying to lose 15 lbs. while TTC. So I wanted to join your group for a little help along the way!!! After I had my 3 year old daughter I got really into dieting and exercising and became very fit and HAPPY! LOL! But i've put on an extra 15 - 20 lbs so I'm attempting to get back into my good routine of being thin and healthy, but need a little motivation!
I would love to meet everyone and get to know you all!
TTYL!

Welcome! I'm Tonya, one of your co-hosts and a certified personal trainer and sports nutritionist. I'm here to help in any way I can. So what are your current exercise and nutrition plans?

Hi Carly!!! You probably know me from the TTC board, but i'll reintroduce myself. My name is Kelsey (28) DH is Jason (29) and DD is Kendra (2). I am trying to lose some inches before DH and I go on our cruise in August and will take any weight that goes with it. I am currently working out to Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and am on day 6 (I've missed a couple days here recently though). I hope that your 15-20 pounds comes off easily!!

Thanks for the warm welcome ladies! When I'm being "good" I count calories and try to stay under 1000, and I work out on the treadmill for at least 1 mile 4x a week. Now I just need the motivation! The meds I have to take do make me tired and since I work a full time job and I'm a mom to a toddler, once I get home in the evenings I am tooo tired to do anything. So I really need that extra push! Especially since summer's coming and we spend every weekend at our beach club and I've gotta look good in that bikini!!!

As a nutritionist, I want to advise you against going so low in calories. It's actually detremental to your health to go too low in calories. Plus it actually lowers your metabolism making it hard for you to lose weight in the future. I'll be glad to do a work up for you that determines your ideal calorie intake based on your body composition and activity level, so that you can lose weight safely while maintaining your health and increasing your energy levels.

Hi,
I am Pamala, your other cohost and I welcome you. I also would recommend not going so low in calories for the same reasons Tonya discussed. Our bodies also need the calories and fat to lose weight.
We hope you stick around and get to know us ladies and the board!
