such as with fruits and veggies. I can eat a banana...is that 1 serving? Or I can eat a sandwich how many servings of bread does that count for? Does anybody have a link to somewhere that will tell me how much a serving size for each food is?

I don't know of a site, but I haven't searched for one. I do know the serving sizes though.

Grains--1 slice of bread, 1/2 a bun, 1/2 a bagel, 1/2 cup of oatmeal, rice, pasta, etc.

Fruits and veggies--1/2 cup if canned, 4 ounces juice, if whole fruit, about the size of a baseball or your clinched fist, this is the size of an average piece of fruit, but only 1/2 a banana, 2 tablespoons of ketchup or jelly

Meats/Proteins--about the size of a deck of cards, 3 ounces, 1/2 cup of beans, 1 egg, for deli meats, enough to cover the palm of your hand, 2 tablespoons peanut butter, a handful of nuts

Dairy--8 ounces milk, 1 slice cheese, 1/4 cup grated cheese, 4-6 ounces yogurt/pudding/etc, 1/2 cup ice cream, 1 tablespoon butter, margarine, mayo, etc.

So, the typical sandwich is 2 servings of grains, 1 serving of meat, and one serving of dairy if you use mayo or one serving of fruit if you use ketchup or jelly.

This is a wallet size portion guide. They have a fridge size one also. But it breaks it down into things you know what they are. Baseball, CD, lightbulb etc.. You can print it off so you always have it handy

Not sure if theis was what you were after, but it might be able to help
