DH seems to think that if i wear them they will help trim my legs...I mean i don't see how this will help..it's not going to make my fat go away in my legs. I noticed today when flexing and touching my legs...i have some serious muscle growage lol so he seems to think the shorts will be a plus...

anyone know?

They'll make you sweat and lose a little water weight from that area, and might squeeze the fat cells together a little, but the results won't last very long. It's similar to the body wraps that some gyms offer. You lose inches immediately, but they come right back as soon as you drink water.

Of course they did it for wrestling. They have to drop weight and be weighed in and then it is okay for the weight to come right back after weigh in. LOL The bad part about wrestling, unfortunately. They would end up getting so dehydrated from trying to cut weight that some of the guys would actually get sick or pass out before their match. Definitely not the best way to go into a match. I always preferred wrestling in a higher weight class so I could put on weight instead of dropping. Being the smallest in that weight class makes you faster then your opponent too!

Compression clothing offers support for your muscles which can mean less muscle soreness after a hard work out. I wear compression shorts when I do my tempo runs. It also helps prevent friction rubbing on my inner thighs when I run and cycle. I love compression shorts but I'm more comfortable in baggy shorts so sometimes I layer baggier shorts over a pair of compression shorts. I also love my running skirt because it's compression shorts under a cute little skirt!
