Name 3 small things you need to change/improve in your diet.

---------------

1. The number one thing I need to work on is drinking more water! I could get buy with what I was doing before, but now I am struggling with dehydration heat/exhaustion during my workouts because of my poor water intake.

2. Increasing my fruits & veggies again. I was really good about this, but haven't been doing as good with this lately.

3. Ditch the lattes. I have been drinking too many lattes. Sugar free with skim milk or not, I don't need to have one every single day.

1 - water water water! I am doing better, but I don't get anywhere new what I need!

2- ditch the junk food. I never grew up having dessert at home, but I CRAVE it after a meal now. It's just scary how many calories a little dessert can add!

3- More fruits and veggies. It's odd that I don't get enough, because I love both. i saw and ate an entire half of a watermelon with a spoon the other night (it as partly dinner and partly dessert, I'd had a super late lunch lol) My fall goal is to eat better meaning actually getting in at least 3 small meals a day, including a fruit or veggie with each meal (an apple or banana with breakfast, same with lunch, and a few veggies aside chicken or fish for dinner etc...).

My 3 things are:

1) Stop eating when I'm satisfied - I have a habit of even when I'm satisfied I always take a few more bites than I need to

2) Eat more fruits and veggies - I have started incorporating smoothies w/ whey protein into my diet to supplement for fruits. I add protein b/c I do a lot of strength training. But I could do better. I'm horrible at eating veggies.

3) Stay away from starches - specifically potatoes. I love fries and LOADED baked potatoes and I should really cut back on eating fries and taking a load off of my baked potatoes.

1. Drink more water. I have been doing better lately but I still haven't gotten away from drinking Propel solely. I just can't make myself drink regular water, ever, and I still don't drink the recommended 8 glasses a day.

2. French fries - I'm an addict. Lately I have been only getting a medium if I go to McD's and giving half of it to my son or only eating half. If it is just me I am only getting a small bag fry to resist the temptation to eat a whole medium or large fry.

3. Exercise - I need to make it part of the routine, something I can't do without. Even as a kid P.E. was my least favorite subject, so this is a huge challenge for me and I think the biggest step I need to take. I have fallen off the boat so many times on this.

1. Eat more! I have a bad problem with summertime making me not hungry enough to eat what I know my body needs. I also tend to get busy and skip a snack here and there because of it. I have to get better about eating more to fuel my body!

2. Add More CARBS! With my crazy schedule, it is easy to grab a piece of fruit and a bag of carrots for my snacks and I really need more then just the fruits and veggies I've been getting. I need some good complex carbs (whole grains, not just fruits and veggies) but I'm only getting them when I'm at home in the evenings.

3. Get more variety. I have a tendency to stick to a small group of favorite foods and don't venture out into other things, mostly due to lack of time to prepare them.
