Aghhh! I was doing so good, but it's only 10 am and I've already had breakfast and my morning snack and all I can think is food, food, food! I almost left the gym and went straight to my favorite binge spot - Biggby's Coffee. I did good though I resisted the urge to buy a huge sugared up latte and brownie or toffee bar, but now I'm home and the food is still on my brain. I got a body fat check and weigh in and am a little down about that. I'm up 6 pounds and about 1% on my body fat from my last check 2 months ago. I am not sure if I can do this today. I'm really afraid I'm going to have a huge binge today or tomorrow. I am posting here in hopes that I can keep myself together. AF is approaching in the next week so PMS symptoms are starting and that and my race is in 6 days so I know some of this is my typical stress response. I need some diversions today girls.
Can you all give me a list of things to do that I have to do first before I binge? That might help. Sometimes it helps if I tell myself I have to do this, that, and the other before I can binge and by the time I'm done the binge goes away. I don't know. Right now I am probably going to go sleep. Sometimes I can sleep off a binge too, lol.
Here's my list for you:
~clean one room of your house
~do some other chore like laundry, dishes, washing windows
~write or email a friend who haven't talked to in a while
~take the kids somewhere like the park
Thanks girls so far so good, but not so sure how well I'm going to hold out when I take the kids to swim classes. So far I have taken a nap, done a ton of laundry, and made a siggy for somebody. I have to take my kids to swim classes soon and I'm thinking about taking them to get some shoes for school too.
Do 50 squats, 50 lunges each side, 50 push ups, and 50 crunches. If you still want to binge after that, binge on celery (a negative calorie food because you burn more calories digesting it then it contains). If you are still hungry, eat more fruits and veggies.

Chew gum. It really helps me keep my cravings down and helps keep me from binging on like chips or something. Gum is sweet, so it helps my sweet tooth, and keeps my mouth busy.
I made it! I feel so much better too. I did eat a little more than I usually do for a non exercise day, but I was hungry and made decent choices so I feel really good about it.
I wound up giving in to my latte craving, but I got a short one sugar free with skim milk - only 70 calories from McDonalds. I also got a low fat fruit & yogurt parfait, skipped the granola. That helped me get over my sugar cravings and I didn't go hog wild. I wound up having a small bowl of Kashi Go Lean cereal after dinner because I was still hungry. I figured the extra protein would help curb my hunger and it seems to have worked. I am quite proud of myself for making decent choices and not binging today.
