Tonya--Tomorrow's stretch day and then Sunday's pilates/yoga day. What's the difference? What kind of stretching do you mean by tomorrow's?

Stretch is any kind of stretch, including an athletic stretch. Pilates and Yoga are specific types of workouts. I apparently messed up though, because I didn't intend to put them back to back like that. OOPS! Too late now. Enjoy the rest this weekend, LOL!

Well, I have a few yoga/pilates stretches, so I will just do 2 different ones then.

Another question...I don't have a medicine ball, but I do have a 10 pound kettle bell. Do you think that would work?

Yep, whatever equipment substitutions you have to do is fine.

Yep, 30 minutes of stretching. It can be yoga or pilates or tai chi if that makes it easier to get the full 30 minutes, but I screwed up and put Sunday as yoga or pilates, so don't do the same workout both days.

Tonya, do lat pullovers have to be done lying down? I was thinking I could suspend a band from my pullup bar and do a similar movement sitting up. Would that work?

Also can you recommend an alternative to lying down for the reverse crunches? What if I do them sitting on the edge of a bench?

Thanks!

Attaching the band and pulling down would be lat pulldowns and are a great substitution for the pullovers. As for the reverse crunches, I wouldn't recommend doing them at all for pregnant women. You don't want to tighten up the abs right now, so just skip those days.

Tonya, another question, looking head. Would push-ups be a substitution for bench presses, or is there a way to do the presses w/o lying down? Thanks!

Push ups would be fine. But you can do an incline bench press if that is okay for you. Basically, for people without an incline bench, I suggest getting a kitchen chair and a bunch of pillows so that you are sitting on the edge of the chair and leaning back against the pillows. You're more in a reclined position then a laying down position and can use weights which are much lighter then the body weight of a push up. Make sense?
