This is an idea I had to keep me accountable. It's a log of things I do to get and stay healthy.
It is my intention to log my exercise and other healthy things I do.
I believe that my health is important, to me, DH, and my (future) children.
If anyone wants to join me by starting their own health log, or posting in mine, please feel free. I welcome your feedback.
Physical exercise, no matter the form, really does have positive effect psychologically as well as physically. Each time I exercise, I feel more empowered. I can't say I felt that way prior to exercising.
Today I went to the gym and lifted weights for my back and biceps. Then I walked for 35 minutes. I feel great!
1. Get enough rest, when possible.
2. Eat small, regular meals.
3. Drink at least 8 glasses of water daily, especially in the warmer monther.
4. Limit simple carbohydrates that can cause rapid fluctuations in insulin levels.
5. Exercise!!!! Every lit bit counts
6. Have healthy servings of veggies!
7. Spend time reflecting and being thankful about my many blessings...despite the stress.
Well I went to the gym today: I basically worked my legs and butt. Once again, I didn't feel like going, but I'm glad I did. I'm learning to put my health above my work, because without my health, I cannot work.
Well I took some rest. But I went back to the gym today. I worked my arms, then did some walking on the treadmill. I have to keep at it. I've already lost almost 3 pounds!! I'm trying to get to a weight I'm comfortable with beofre getting pregnant. We'll see!!
