Just wondering how many of you have had or will most likely be having surgery to minimize their tummy, thighs...ya know? "Problem areas"
I cannot say for sure if I could ever do it as it really freaks me out to be in such a vulnerable state and the cost alone is like WHOA!!!!!!! I just have never liked my body (all the same areas most women do not like) and now that I'm about to have my first child I have no idea how my body will look after giving birth (luckily I've only gained 26 pounds and will hopefully be giving birth this week) and am concerned that if my body ends up looking worse (to me) then it already did prior to becoming pregies how that will effect my self confidence. I'm not looking for anyone to try to tell me how I am fine the way I am and just accept my body.... I am not looking for those types of replies though I understand them naturally. My hubby would be totally against my getting any type of cosmetic surgery like that so it's probably not even an option if I were deadest on it, but just curious How many have actually gone through w/ it? What was it like? How do you feel now? Was it really worth it in all respects?
I plan on going in for liposuction on my upper thighs once I reach my goal weight. I am done having my children and after my 1st there were a few places (upper thigh) that did not bounce back. So I just plan on getting rid of the cellulite patches there. I don't need it on my belly or I would get it done there too. JMO but I totally think it is worth it. It is an individual choice though and MAKE SURE you investigate and research the dr. doing it! If possible- talk to other people who have had the surgery done by the dr. Diet and exercise should take you most of the way tho! Good Luck!
I haven't had anything done but it's not for a lack of trying.
4 yrs ago I was referred to a specialist by my Dr. After waiting 2yrs I got an appt. I saw the Dr. and he said I was definately a candidate for the bypass surgery. Well, we wanted to have another child soon and when you have a child they drop you to the bottom of the list. But here I am 2 more yrs later and no phone call and due with my 3rd child.
So it looks like I'll never have anything done.

It may be the last time you see them.
