Does anyone know of some good supplements for joint health? My knees are terrible (they make crunching noises when I go up or down stairs) and I was hoping to find something that might help them out a little.

Glucosamine and Chondroitin are both good. Past that i'd recommend you speak with your doctor. There may be something RX based now that they can prescribe for you. Orthopedist would probably be a good place to start.
I have the same kind of noise from my knees, too. No pain, but loud enough to worry me.
If you want to take glucosamine I would really recommend you get a capsule maker and buy the stuff in bulk from ameriherb. It works, but gets expensive quickly. To order in bulk from Ameriherb.com you have to create an account, but then you will save TONS making your own capsules. If you like herbal teas- or any herbs really- they have good prices.
I've also found that exercises to strengthen and then stretch my legs seem to help my knees.

I had no idea you could buy the stuff to make your own! Never tried that. I also agree that glucosamine and chondroiton are good, but you get what you pay for if you go with store-bought supplements. I bought cheap Wal-mart brand and took them for several weeks and didn't notice much difference but then I bought a more expensive brand (can't for the life of me remember it) and in about a month, my knees felt great.
