I make my hubby work out with me every day, at least for the strength training days. I like to do it with him because it makes it easier for me and sometimes I need him to spot me on certain exercises if I am trying to increase how much I am lifting. But mostly I just like to have someone do it with me. If you know me from Facebook (by the way you can friend me if you want Patty Hone) you'll see me posting aggravating posts to get him to work out with me. LOL. He always drags his butt when it comes to working out but he feels better after I make him do it, so I don't think he minds all my nagging.

Anyway, I really like training with him. If I had a girlfriend to workout with I'd probably like that too.

Nope. My hubby doesn't work out, works nights, sleeps days, works 50-60 hours a week, goes to school full time, volunteers 4 hours a week on top of his normal work, plus is our HOA President, plus has myself and our kid too. He barely has time to sleep much less work out.

Honestly, I wouldn't want him to anyway. I won't work out with others, I prefer to do it alone, that way I can look as stupid as I want without worrying about anybody else hehe.

Boy, he sounds crazy busy!

I had to laugh at your comment about looking stupid. I kind of care about that, which is why I've never liked going to a gym, but with my dh, he knows I'm stupid already so it doesn't matter. Haha.

Yep, he definitely is. We both are, it's crazy sometimes, but it works. We're not sit around and be idle type of people.

Yeah, on a daily basis I'm okay with that. But, my husband spent 6 years in the military, he was pretty fit when he got out doing an hour of PT 5-6 days a week, 10-15 mile ruck marches, etc. Now, he doesn't work out anymore, and sits on his butt in a car all day, but somehow endurance wise he never got out of shape. We went on vacation and he put all of our swim gear in his ruck sack and we were hiking on the side of the road. It was hot, humid, I wasn't carrying a **** thing and I was doing OKAY, but had I been carrying all of that stuff I wouldn't have made it no way. So, it's not so much looking stupid as in coordination and such, but endurance wise. There would come a point where I'd be dropping dead and he wouldn't be.

So, just not my cup of tea. I prefer to be able to move at my own pace, sweat as much as I'm going to (I'm a guy when it comes to sweating it's awful), huff and puff as much as I need to, whatever, and not have to worry about looking stupid or out of shape or anything. Not that he doesn't KNOW I'm out of shape, but don't need it smacking him (or me) in the face too much LoL.

My hubby and I have done weight training together on occasion, and we've often gone on bike rides together. He's talking about taking up running this summer, but I don't know if he'll prefer to run with me or on his own if he even does. Most of the time, though, I exercise on my own.

Nope, DH does not work out with me. I very much prefer to work out alone! I hate when people watch me work out. LOL!

LOl, yea right. DH hates working out. I tried to get him to run a 5 K with me a few years ago and he ran on the treadmill for about a week until he said he hurt his knee and never did it again.

Nope, he doesn't work out. Years ago before we were married, he tried to go running with me, but he wanted to just do an all out sprint where I just wanted to go for a leisurely jog for a few miles. So that was the first and last time we ran together lol. I would love it if he'd join me in running races though. I see other couples running together and I think it would be awesome, but it won't happen lol

We do work out together. He has a shorter work out then I do, so he usually finished before I do but I enjoy working out with him.

He does weights while I do the eliptical and weights. So its neat to have him there, otherwise I wouldn't push it as much as I do when he is there.

I used to, but when either of us falls off the wagon we drag the other down with us. I just started a new program in January again, and I'm doing it without him, gonna see how that goes this time.
