Are you in a better mood after you work out? Or if you don't work out does it affect your mood for the day?

I am a very moody person to begin with. I think exercise improves my moods to an extent but I still have problems with being moody either way. It just helps.

Yes, I think working out helps improve my moods, too. I think losing weight has helped balance some hormonal issues I used to have, and less moodiness has seemed to go along with that, maybe.

Missing a planned workout definitely pisses me off, though. LOL! More than once I have been in a rotten mood and DH has said, "Why don't you go for a run or something?" So I bite his head off, go, then feel better.

Most definitely. If I get up and exercise before work I find that my mood is so much better and I have so much more energy. If I don't get up and exercise I find that I kind of drag through the day. I love that post exercise high better than any drug you could take.

I also feel that I am in a better mood after working out and that I am a little more moody if I miss a workout.

I feel as though I sleep better when I work out. Otherwise I tend to think about not working out. Which makes for a restless night and an unhappy woman in the morning

I would say so. Even just walking does something for my moods. Is finding the time that is the hard part!
