My friend posted this on Facebook and I could so relate.
That Girl Needs To Lay Off The Cheeseburgers

Yesterday when I went to the dentist the receptionist made a comment about how thin I am getting. The way she said it made me feel like she thought I was too thin and she is not the first person to do this to me. It kind of makes me self conscious and uncomfortable. I have lost 30 lbs since having Shawn but I think I am at a healthy weight and I know I eat well. I eat three meals a day and usually 3 snacks too.

Anyway, I guess I just really understood what this lady was saying in the article because I've even said to my dh how annoyed I get with the statement "real women have curves" because I don't. I wouldn't mind having them, but my body is what it is and I like my body and for the first time in a long time think I have a healthy body image.

I can totally relate to this. I was the too thin girl in high school, also the one taller than all the boys. So, naturally, that meant rumors about me being bulemic or anorexic, or that I was sleeping around and after everyone's boyfriends. It really made my life miserable. I had a friend in high school who was bigger, and struggled with her body image because she was "fat". I remember once trying to comfort her and she bit my head off about how I'd never understand because I was just a "stick figure".
