I keep a workout log and that is the biggest way I track my progress. I've also been taking pictures weekly. At first I only planned to do that for 12 weeks but I think I am going to keep taking them. I may just not post them all to JM (not that I care if you guys see them, but that could turn into a lot of pics!). The workout log helps me the most though because I can look back and see how much stronger I have gotten. When I started this I was doing 12 push ups. Now I am doing 25+. Yesterday I did 27 and was so excited to see how much progress I've made.

I try to take measurements every so often. I also track my weight on MFP.

That is a great idea about tracking your progress on number of reps. Do you keep track of the weight you use for toning too?

Yes, I keep track of reps, sets, and how much weight I am using. I try to increase how much I am lifting as frequently as I can, and dh will spot me if I really need it. I remember when we started there was one exercise where he spot me on every single rep, but now I am using that same weight and doing 12 reps with it all by myself. It gets me really excited when I can look back to see how much stronger I am getting. This way, even if I can't see the results in my body, I can at least know I am making progress because I am getting stronger.

I used to keep a workout journal and then after 2 kids and working full time I just couldn't find the time to keep up with it. Now I just keep a mental note of how I'm doing, plus progress for me is working out more than 3 times a week. I used to find time to workout 5 times a week no problem but now finding the time and energy can sometimes be hard.

Right now I'm keeping track of my weight gain but not measurements; I also log exercise on MFP and keep a record of miles run at Daily Mile
