Nope, outside of the commercial aspect, we don't celebrate Easter, so kid gets a small Easter basket with an art pad, new markers, colored pencils, and a chocolate peanutbutter bunny. And will color eggs, but that's it. Other than that, just another day for us.

We haven't fully decided yet. We are considering doing a taco bar instead of the traditional dinner.

Usually we do a ham dinner or leg of lamb, we are suckers for tradition. Only change this year, I'll be cooking myself a chicken breast.

my son's birthday falls on easter this year, so it's going to be more of a birthday thing. i'm baking a home made vegan carrot cake that i'll ATTEMPT to decorate.
easter dinner will be a mix of vegan/vegetarian dishes.

We don't celebrate Easter either. I don't get the kids Easter baskets or any of this. They have taken to making their own Easter eggs though because they want to hide them. LOL. I let them do whatever they want but it's just never been a holiday we've celebrated.

We usually have kind of a potluck type dinner with our families. We had an early Easter meal with my mom's side on the 17th (I didn't bring anything as that was the weekend I was out with the girls and didn't have time to cook anything). We had ham, potatoes, mom's chicken and noodles, green beans, deviled eggs, veggies/fruits, and salads. My dad's side is going out to eat at Perkins this year. And we haven't heard if DH's mom's side is getting together yet.
