Would you say you eat a "clean" diet? What does that mean to you?

For the most part, but do we have some processed foods and treats? Absolutely. IMO eating clean is eating no processed foods, only whole, fresh fruits, grains, meats, and veggies.

We do about 80%, but we do go out to eat sometimes, have crackers and snacks, or have treats here and there. We're human

That's how I define it I'd say I also do about 80%. While I do some processed stuff, I try to make sure they have fewer ingredients (i.e. instead of the serving of doritos I would use to have, now I've found a brand that tastes similar from a small family company with about 1/2 the ingredients).. I don't have high fructose syrup (yeah, I read many labels). I have 5+ servings of fruits and veggies a day, lots of lean proteins. The only frozen food I eat is berries and veggies. No frozen fries anymore (I do homemade roasted potatoes now)... etc etc. I just try to avoid boxes of things. Always whole wheat.

I do go out to eat once a week and splurge for just one meal, so that's why I'm not a clean eater 100% of the time.. sometimes I just want my burger and fries, or my chinese. Moderation is my key. But cleanER eating has brought my BP down to normal and I'm NEVER hungry, I love it.

No, I probably don't. I do eat a lot of fruits, veggies, and things from scratch but I also eat a lot of processed things for snacks and sometimes to make meals with. I think I eat healthy, but I have a hard time getting enough protein/calories for what I'm trying to accomplish without having protein bars and shakes.

I try to eat clean and do really well most of the time. For me eating clean is eating food in it's natural state. Fresh fruits and vegetables. No processed food. My biggest problem is drinking lemonade with artificial sweetener. I have been trying to cut that out but I love it so much it's hard.

I try to follow Michael Pollan's food "rules"... Eat (real) food, mostly plants, not too much.

I do use more processed stuff to feed the kids than what I will eat myself, noodles and meats and snacks. It's cheaper and more filling for them, and I can only hope their bodies are young and healthy enough to handle the chemicals and stuff.

I agree with that definition of clean eating. I would say that we are about 90% there, we have one "easy" night every week where we have pizza (granted, it's usually homemade), or fries, or something. But I've started making a lot of our own snacks too- trail mix, banana chips, granola bars, etc.
