Introduction to the game: Over the next 28 days you will be fighting for your life against infected zombies, and getting fit at the same time. Each day you will receive points for participating on the board and in the Zombie Apocalypse Fitness Game. We will post Daily Zombie Apocalypse threads where you can log your food and exercise each day.

Each day you will receive points for:
~1 point for posting your food in the Daily Zombie Apocalypse Food Journal
~1 point for every 10 minutes of strength training per day (Must be logged in the Daily Zombie Apocalypse Exercise Log
~1 point for every 10 minutes of cardio per day (Must be logged in the Daily Zombie Apocalypse Exercise Log
~1 point for every 10 minutes of any workout dvd per day (Must be logged in the Daily Zombie Apocalypse Exercise Log
~1 point for posting 3 topics or replies on the Mommy Weightloss and Fitness Board (main board, not subforums)
These are the points you can receive every day just by participating, exercising, and keeping track of your food. In addition to this you will participate in a series of events, starting with day 1 of the Zombie Apocalypse where you wake up in your bedroom and see your first zombie. You have seconds to decide what to do run for your life or try to kill him. In order to accomplish your zombie kills or sprints from them, you will have to do different challenges. Each day look for the Zombie Apocalypse threads for the day so you know what to do.

At the end of the game, we will also be awarding badges for participants including: Most zombie kills, best at hand to hand combat, and many others.

This might be a silly question, things like crunches, they're considered strength training, right?

I haven't posted in this forum since I was pregnant!

This looks like fun. I will give it a go with you guys. I am gonna be counting gardening as either strength training or cardio depending on what I am doing, k? ie digging is strength, raking is cardio

Yes, crunches would be considered strength training. I am a zombie fanatic as well. LOL.

That sounds perfect. We are counting both as the same amount of points so whichever you decide.
