I love it that I'm at the start of a new 12 week challenge for myself. Last time I kind of stalled out in the middle and I don't feel like I pushed myself as hard as I could have the entire time. This time I want to really push myself with every workout and see what I can do. Also, I am taking pictures of dh so he can track his progress. I've decided I am going to be his personal trainer LMAO and I'm going to push him really hard this time.

We did our first workout last night with our new equipment. It took us a while to get through it just because we were learning new exercises and had to get used to changing the weights out and stuff. I knew our first workout might go smoothly because we did some new exercise and I didn't know quite where to start off on weights. Hopefully next week will be smoother. Also, I'm not used to using a barbell and exercises feel different with barbells than dumbbells.

I have our workouts planned for 2 different workouts for upper body & abs and then 2 different workouts for lower body. We are just going to rotate back and forth. I'm excited about some of the new exercises and being able to use heavier weights. I'm especially excited to see dh progress. I think he didn't get as good of results last time because we didn't really have heavy enough weights for guys.

Glad you are back on track. I love using my barbell for heavier weight work. Keep us updated with how you are doing on your new program. I think its so great that you set out a 12 week plan.
