Do you ever avoid weighing yourself when you think the scale is not going to be nice?

I didn't weigh myself all last week. I kind of decided that last week was going to be a cheat week. LOL. I needed a little break from everything. I ate whatever I wanted and in fact for several days all I did was eat. LOL. So, I was kind of sure I gained weight. I just didn't want to know how much. I finally stepped on the scale this morning and I am up 2 lbs. I'm not worried about it really because I had wanted to gain a little weight anyway. I just prefer to do it a little more slowly. It could be water weight anyway because AF just started and that probably is why I wanted to eat nonstop too.

No weighing myself keeps my eating in check. If I eat bad and I see a reflection of that on the scale, it will just motivate me to eat better that day and get the scale back down to where I want it to be.

I always weigh although sometimes I tell myself it doesn't "count"...

This is kind of my thought process as well.

That's my thinking as well ^^

Although I've generally only been weighing myself every second week lately, not purposely, I just don't think of it.

Yes, I avoid the scale when I think it's going to be bad news... When I do weigh myself, I tell myself not to be disappointed before I get on the scale... sometimes I am, but often I'm pleasantly surprised.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who does this.
