Have you ever done any type of yoga?

Once upon a time I bought a book on Yoga. I think it showed you how to do the sun salutation and maybe some other poses but I can't remember. This was a LONG time ago back in my vegetarian days. Back then I was trying to learn about yoga for spiritual reasons not just exercise. Anyway, that was probably the last time I took any type of interest in yoga.

I do think it would be cool to add to my exercise routine but I don't really enjoy it. I have a feeling it won't be something I ever really get into unless maybe I found a video I liked or something. I just find the poses awkward and I don't feel like I'm accomplishing anything when I do them. I am sure they are good for your body and will improve your flexibility and tone your body in a different way, I just don't really care that much I guess.

I enjoy yoga sometimes. I really like the p90x yoga video, it is 90 minutes long, very difficult, includes good core work. I also like doing yoga on rest days. I am not into the eastern spirituality aspect, so like at the end of the p90x routine I skip the "om"s. Just my personal preference.

The last time I did yoga was in college. I never really liked it much. I find some of the poses awkward and some of them kind of painful. I still have a couple of videos I bought way back then. Maybe I should pop one in and see if I like it any better now.

I've done it and I hate it. Just not for me. Now pilates on the other hand I really like. I have been doing these workout lately called Fusion Fitness which are a mix of cardio, weights and pilates and I love them.

I've never really been "into" traditional yoga, but I tried Jillian Michael's weightloss yoga and I actually love it!

I've done hot yoga (like in a sauna almost) and enjoyed that, but its super expensive. And I've done Mommy and me water yoga which I enjoyed. Both of them burn more calories than regular yoga so found them to be good workouts. I've never tried regular yoga though.
