I've been trying to either drink a protein shake or have a protein bar after my workouts. I'm kind of tired of spending the money on them. They don't taste that great and I like the idea of eating something more natural. So, I think I am going to start looking for some protein bar recipes or some other types of recipes for high protein snacks. I'll be sure to post when I make them.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any recipes. I'd love some links if you've tried any or seen anything that looks good.

I LOVE this blog for healthy desserts, shakes, protein bars, etc. : http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/

I have made several of the "Lara bars" along with the dips (chocolate chip, brownie). She uses things like dates and chickpeas. YUM!
