Would you like to or do you participate in any fitness related competitions?
We have a triathalon that they do around us. I have been thinking about signing up for it but I think I will probably wait till next year. Here are the details for it.
Swim 1/2 mile accross Clifford Lake.
Bike out 4.5 miles to check point then back to transition area.
Run 2 miles back to Clifford Lake Inn.
The swimming is the only part of it that really makes me nervous. The biking sounds hard too but I'm not scared of biking. I am scared to death of swimming in deep water. But, I'd really like to work on my fears at the same time as competing.
As much as I'd like to do this I think we will wait till next year to consider it. We don't even have decent bikes right now.
I know Jamie runs marathons. Does anyone else do or what to do any type of fitness competition?
