Does anyone else use these to supplement meals? I try and drink one for breakfast about once or twice a week but I realized they have 25 grams of carbs and 190 Mg of sodium. What do you ladies think? Has anyone had results with replace breakfast meals with this type thing?

I know in preparation for my wedding I would make a SlimFast one a few times in the mornings to replace my breakfast. I unfortunately didn't have a lot of success with them though.

Now I take plain greek yogurt, add frozen berries, and either flax seeds or chia seeds, with maybe a quarter of a cup of milk and blend it and drink it. High in protein so keeps me fuller longer than the SlimFast (I think its almost double for the brand of greek yogurt I use).

Just my experience though...and I ate like crap before so that probably contributed to them not working for me

The only weight loss shakes I have tried are Slim Fast and Full Bar. Slim Fast was something I tried years ago. I think the Full Bar is pretty good. I didn't use it as a meal replacement but just to help me feel fuller. It seemed to help with that.

Now I don't do any meal replacements but I do drink protein shakes after my workouts to help with recovery. They really help me to feel better after my workouts and I think they help with muscle growth too.

I've tried them in the past and they didn't work at all of me.
But that was back when I forced myself to eat brealfast even though I'm not hungry in the morning since it was so "important" and all eating breakfast does for me is make me feel hungry and overeat all day.

Occasionally I will make a shake with some low carb protein powder, almond milk and heavy cream.

Thanks ladies. They don't really seem to be working that well for me, so I guess I'll stop them and maybe buy a protein bar or some time of bar that could be more of a filler and then also a healthy snack.
