You or dh? Does your dh cook healthy meals like you?

Dh and I kind of split it up. I probably cook more than he does, but he does his share. Kelly doesn't really cook healthy meals but usually what he cooks is semi healthy anyway. He doesn't try to but when he cooks it's usually chicken on the grill or something like that so it's not too bad for you. I usually take care of side dishes and stuff like that.

I do 99% of the cooking when DH is home. DH has cooked for me a handful of times and it's been easy stuff like pasta lol.

I cook most of the time, but on days that I work and DH is home he cooks. It's usually pretty healthy, mostly because we sit down and meal plan together and I usually do the shopping. If he chose on his own, it would be deep fried I'm sure

I do right now, but that's because I'm still on mat leave. I think we'll go back to 50/50ish when I return to work.

We both cook relatively healthy...but our big difference is steamed veggies...he always puts a ton of butter on the veggies while I do not. We've gotten into the habit of portioning them out before he butters his!

I do 75% of the cooking. Not always healthy, we love our butter here! But it's usually always home made. Traditional meat and 2 sides.

I do almost all of the cooking. When DH does fix something it is usually just a grilled meat (steak, chicken, or hamburgers generally).

LMAO that sounds like my dh. He used to be terrible and really he's still not so great. I remember one time he made macaroni and cheese and didn't drain the water out first. Now he can cook a few meals and I like that. Even if they aren't great at least I get a little break from cooking.

If DH is cooking you can pretty much bet it's

Tacos
Nachos
frozen pizza

hmm.. yup that's about it.

He'll be home for 4 days this weekend.. my first real chance to try balancing his food choices with my own weight loss needs.
