How much weight do you usually lose in a week (if/when you are trying to lose weight)?
When I have lost weight I rarely ever lose it quickly. I normally lose about half a lb a week. But, really I think that is good because usually when I do it that way it stays off. I can lose it faster, but not a whole lot faster without just flat out starving myself and even then I usually only can lose at the most 2 lbs in a week.
I agree, for me it's usually anywhere between 0.5 and 1.5 lbs per week. I so agree that when you lose it slower it stays off, that's why I don't beat myself up if I lose like 0.3 one week.
I find when the weight loss stalls, I usually trip myself up, eat a little more, or a little less to get the metabolism going, it almost always works.
This past wednesday I was down 4.8 lbs, couldn't believe it, I actually thought I would be the same since I had a 2 lb loss the week before, looked back over my journal, if anything I ate more than usual but I ate more often!
