I've been wanting to ask this here but it's pretty personal. First, I'll say that I have a hyperactive sex drive. I think it's due to my hormones or my bipolar. I don't know. But working out has made it so much worse. The actual act of working out gets me turned on. I don't know if this is normal or if I'm a freak. LOL. But working out in general, has made me more interested in sex. I think it's because of two reasons -exercise makes me more aroused and I just feel better about myself and that makes me want to have sex more often.
I hope this isn't too personal of a question for you guys. I really want to know if I'm the only weirdo that gets turned on in the middle of a workout or if anyone has noticed their sex drive has improved since they started working out.
haven't been "working out" long enough to notice a huge difference. I do notice with each pound that comes off, a little more of my very much missing sex drive is coming back. I heard the "Leave me alone woman, I am not a machine!" for the first time in my life a few weekends ago while visiting my husband (he's away working).
I'm certainly hoping that this continues, since I went from wanting it all day every day, to a few days a week being more than enough.. in the run of a few months.

lol if you are a freak then so am I.....I have noticed since I lost the weight I want sex MUCH MUCH more and I am with you working out kinda turns me on LOL....I used to be able to go a month or more without wanting sex (not that I didn't have sex I could just live without it) I think in part it is due to the fact that I was not happy with myself or my body....and now I can look in the mirror and think "hey I look pretty good" so that helps my confidence I guess....
I don't know yet. I haven't had sex in almost 6 months so I don't even really think about it right now. I do know I feel better with the more weight I lose and the more fit I get so I think that will have a positive effect on our sex life when DH gets back. It took a real dive after I had DD.
Thanks to Bokkechick for my siggy.
LOL!! I can't say that I get turned on while exercising but I do notice that exercise makes me feel sexier thus I want to have more sex. I bet your DH wants you exercising all the time so you guys can have more sex!!
Thank you *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy
Not the actual working out, but I do feel better about myself when I've had a good workout or a long run, and I find that after I've showered and all, I am in the mood. DH has even noticed...I realized he had picked up on my increased sex drive after a workout when he started asking me if I was planning a long run that day.
So I don't sound as weird, my dh works out with me and I think that is part of it. If I start seeing his muscles work and we're working out, I think that's why I get turned on in the middle of a workout. LOL. I'm not sure if I was working out by myself if I would have this problem.
